Bogota, Colombia
will be held in Bogota, Colombia, during the week of June 4 to 8, 2012.
The week before the meeting, from Wednesday May 30th until Saturday June 2nd, we will have three tutorials in Model Theory, Set Theory and Algebraic Logic.
The first SLALM (Simposio Latinoamericano de Lógica Matemática) was held in 1970 in Santiago de Chile and subsequent meetings have taken place in Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Venezuela, Argentina, Costa Rica and Mexico.
In addition to plenary talks and the tutorials, this meeting will include four special sessions on Algebraic and Non-classical logics, Model Theory, Recursion and Computer Science Logic, and Set Theory.
The three tutorials will be given by:

Le premier exposé du lundi 11 Juin sera donné par Jean-Pierre Serre. Comme l’indique l’intitulé de la conférence, plusieurs exposés porteront sur les fonctions multizêtas et les progrès récents les concernant ; d’autres exposés porteront sur des questions d’algèbre et de géométrie auxquelles Pierre Cartier s’est intéressé de longtemps.
Il n’y a pas de droits d’inscription pour cette conférence. Mais la capacité de l’amphithéâtre étant limitée, il est indispensable que les participants s’inscrivent à l’avance (en remplissant le formulaire d’inscription en ligne). Un repas est prévu le midi, sous forme de buffet. Quelque temps avant la conférence, tous les participants déjà inscrits à la conférence seront informés qu’ils peuvent s’inscrire en ligne pour déjeuner s’ils le souhaitent (avec une procédure de paiement en ligne).
La conférence est ouverte à tous les mathématiciens, les jeunes mathématiciens en particulier. Nous ne disposons pas de financements pour les frais de voyages et séjour des participants, mais nous pouvons essayer de trouver une solution pour les étudiants et mathématiciens débutants qui auraient besoin d’un soutien financier.
La conférence bénéficie de l’accueil et du soutien logistique et financier de l’IHÉS.
